As far as I see it, sueing is just an attempt to weazel out of having to think for oneself and blame lack of common sense on other people.

Indeed. It is far easier and often mroe profitable to settle out of court. Lawsuits are a painful ordeal for all involved.

Half of which goes to your lawyer. And then a third goes to the government for taxes to pay for the very court you used.

It's far more useful to use a settlement.
