We didn't really get much snow.  It was mostly sleet & ice!  I'd rather get snow.

Well in my area it's completely icy everywhere, on the trees, the streets, and even in my freezer  . Hehe, I got up this morning, got ready, and then when I got outside my car was all ice to the ground because the previous day it rained so there's icicles from my car to the ground and my tires looked like they were elmo glued to the street. So then I knew I was going to be late for school for sure so I call a friend who I know puts his car in the garage, "Hey, can you give me a ride to school today? my car is basically glued to the street."
"What the !@#$ are you calling me so early for, it's a !@#$ing snow day!" "oh... ....  .... .... ...!" NO CHEMISTRY TEST WooHOO!

So now I'm on the computer telling you about a 'snow day' in Texas. Oxymoron yes ...

Ice storm of '98. We had school. Texans aren't so tough.  ;) :P

naw... really it's because we ain't used to it and don't get it often.  ;D We barely had an inch of ice and we're taken school off. Them Yankees have a couple feet of snow/ice and they still have school.  :P

Last time I was off school for a snow day, it was my birthday :D

I've never had a birthday in school. For the three years so far it's fallen on a weekday, school has been shut...

I've never seen snow where I have lived. It got really cold in the Appalachians of Alabama, but it never snowed. But here in Destin, its 80 fucking degrees every day.

It seems we have our fair share of New Englanders and Britons in Taijitu. The only ones south of the Mason-Dixon are Dixie and I :(

Ha ha! You're on your ownes. ???

I really really really wish that Norfolk would get some snow. I mean, some parts of Britain grind to a halt. We grind to a halt after trying to carry on. I can remember the last time that is snowed heavily enough to warrant a 'Snow Day'. Our school was still open >:( We went there, slipping and sliding all of the way. When we got to school, at break we had a wonderful snowball fight. Then we were all called into the hall and told to go home. Ah, good times.
