Yes Industry Tycoon is an online game, and it's free.  Go here.  Best business sim out there.  Hands down.

No other Ultima Online players out there? That was the best MMO ever because you could scam people, kill and loot people, loot houses and be an all around jacka$$. You could just slip off into the crowd and never have to worry about your victims tracking you down with /where or /whisper commands... It had a lot to offer for such an old game.

Other great games:

Bubble Bobble
Excite Bike
Mario (Mario 2 and 3 were my favourites)
Golden Axe
Boy and His Blob
Toejam & Earl
Secret of Mana
Secret of Evermore
Quake 1 & 2
Little Computer People
SimCity
SimEarth
SimTower
Duke Nukem (both the side scrollers and Duke3D - long live the holo duke!)
Rivercity ransom
F-Zero
Shadowgate
Deja Vu
Deus Ex: Invisible War
DDR
Missle Command
Asteroid
Frogger

So many others as well, those are the ones which spring to mind right now though  :D Now who's got no life  :-P

Some of my favorites (my PC's too slow for me to branch into that field, sadly):

Metal Gear Solid Series (Mostly PlayStation, with spinoffs on GCN, XBOX)
Zone of the Enders (PS2)
Kingdom Hearts (PS2)
Devil May Cry (PS2)
Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day (Nintendo DS)
Elite Beat Agents (DS)
PQ (PSP)
Wii Sports (Take a wild guess)
Super Smash Bros. Meele (GCN)
Goldeneye 007 (Nintendo 64)
Perfect Dark (N64)
Table Tennis (XBOX 360)
Valkyrie Wilde: Full Frontal Assault (PSX)

government’s job is to help them to do it. Not to tell people how to
live their lives. But to make their choices possible, to release their
potential, no matter who they are. The way to do that is to take power away from those who hoard it. To challenge vested interests. To break down privilege.
