Despite most players hailing from the Great White North and Canada ranking high in international play a Canadian team hasn't won Lord Stanley's Cup since 1993 when the Montreal Canadiens defeated the Los Angeles Kings in five games.
Tonight the Vancouver Canucks play the Boston Bruins in Game Seven of the 2011 Finals. The winner of this game wins the Cup. Will the Canucks win the Cup for the first time in their 40 seasons become the first Canadian team to win it in 18 years or will the Bruins win it for the first time since 1972?
Either way it should be a great game. And the opportunity for LULZ is high as well :D
Anyway Go Canucks Go!

They did.
4-0 Bruins is the Final.
Congrats to the Boston Bruins and their fans.
Gary Bettman can still kiss my ass though.
There's always next year. Go Leafs Go!

Yay. We won.

Yes. We have crushed the feeble Canadian resistance.
-
And now Vancouver is rioting and the police have been forced to flee the city.
This is why we can't have nice things.

Som Gosh, 16, said police blocked off the area and detained a number of people.
"I think it was a few people. ... Everybody else is watching," Gosh said.
Some members of the crowd could be seen trying to hold back others. Others posed for pictures, while most wanted no part of the violence and headed in the opposite direction.
haha true.
