I was never a Maroon 5 fan, but their newest album, is very, very good.

More in common, of crazed.  This is getting freaky.  The first minimized name on my list, where I say that I HATE their first album but love the second...that's Maroon 5.
"I believe every single person is extraordinary. The tragedy is that we
have a society where too many people never get to fulfill that
extraordinary potential. My view – the liberal view – is that
government’s job is to help them to do it. Not to tell people how to
live their lives. But to make their choices possible, to release their
potential, no matter who they are. The way to do that is to take power away from those who hoard it. To challenge vested interests. To break down privilege. To clear out the bottlenecks in our society that block opportunity and block progress. And so give everyone a chance to live the life they want." - Nick Clegg, Leader of the Liberal Democrats and Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

King Crimson.  They've been around for a really long time and have gone through lineup changes so dramatic that the only constant has been the guitarist.  They've done some really great, ass-kicking stuff and some really terrible, ear-destroying stuff.

Pink Floyd seconded, though I'm SO TIRED of hearing Dark Side of The Moon on constant play everywhere I go.

I'm going to have to listen to them just on the basis of that song's title.

Ok, my favorite band is definitely Queen. I mean how much better can you get than an entire song about bicycles? No, really, though, Brian May is amazingd and so is Freddie Mercury. They really do have a lot of good stuff and most of it is pretty diverse, too.

By Genre

Classic Rock: Led Zeppelin
Country: Hank Williams Jr
Rural Folk: Many artists; John Prine, Guy Clark, Townes van Zandt
My one and only hippy band: Phish
Rap: NWA, lol
Economic Left/Right: 9.65
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.37

Proud Constitutionalist

When the government fears the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny.

Tyrants from Hitler to Mao to Stalin have sought to disarm their own citizens, for the simple reason that unarmed people are easier to control.
