Oh I like Neil's!  I tend to prefer a solid background and maybe an image on the side.  Most of the time it's the way it is now.  Plain old Windows blue.  But I have a TON of folders and things on it, which is why I go for the uncluttered backgrounds.

I can't show you the one I have at home (a really lovely abstract oil painting) as the image is saved to my HD, but this is what I just changed my work PC to this morning:

My, people have such chromatically complex desktops. Mine is currently all of three colors. Seeing as I never really look at my desktop, I'm none too worried.
