What do you think Earth will be like in 2107, 100 years from now? I voted that:
1. China and the US will be in a second Cold War.
2. We find a cure for AIDS (possibly allowing Africa to start to improve)
3. The UN collapses.
4. Global warming slows significantly.

Israel gets some peace. Palestine get there state. No problem.
The EU eats all of Europe. Britain's almost assimilated all ready.
Also, the UK begins to unravel and the US takes over Puerto Rico, since its essentially the 51st state already.

I think we won't have a world government until 2507, at least.

If there is a true one world government in my lifetime, I'm either going to lead a revolution or kill myself.

Well, I personally hope that we'll see a world government by 2107, though I sincerely doubt that it will be under the auspices of the UN. The UN is a reactionary body devoted to maintaining the hegemony of the imperialist powers, and so it will remain until its demise.
I fully hope to have aided the working class in instituting socialism by 2107, and based my answers off this.
Palestine will have won its struggle against the Israeli imperialists, the reactionary UN will have collapsed, the US will fall as an imperialist power, and humanity will have been able to make the scientific advances impossible under capitalism: global warming slows and humanity terraforms other worlds.

It'd still be nice though if everyone in the Middle East sat in a big flower shaped circle and cried on each other for a while. It could happen...

This is what's gonna happen. In 2025ish the Democratic president will withdraw funding from Israel. Without the numbers and aid that the Arabs have, Israel will fall and be replaced by Palestine. In the 2030's the political party cycle will have the Republicans back in power, and we'll start expanding. We'll start being referred to in international conversation as the "American Empire". The PS40 comes out, and Now Hit Music 972 provides us with bland techno. McDonald's is subject to so many boycotts that it eventually files bankrupcy around 2037. The Republicans retake control of Maine, and the largely Democratic states ban transfats. In the 2050's the EU drafts a bill to unite under one banner, and it succeeds narrowly. Los Angeles is a big ghetto now, and the only states with a white majority are the northern ones. In the 2060's the US loses the Arab conflict and has Saudi Arabia as it's only semi-ally. The US also withdraws from the UN at this time, influencing Britain too, and the EU eventually does too. The UN falls because of no big nation's support. By 2090 crime is a huge problem and the US slips toward dictatorship. The Democrats lose control because of more and more business regulations, and the US becomes a one party state in 2095. 2100 brings in the new dictator of the US. 2102, Maine finally loses it's white majority (which is going to be the last state to do so in today's projections) and the Hispanics are in charge. Canada is annexed by the US, and Mexico is in 2105. By 2107 the US has control over the Carribean, and, if you want to go farther...
In 2110 Europe becomes the third superpower, along with China and the US. It aligns with neither side, and the Arabs unite in 2115. By 2125 Europe and the US unite, and China unites with the Arabs to balance power. In 2150, nuclear war breaks out. Due to smart leaders, only about 15 nuclear weapons are exchanged, but the climate is affected because of it, and the slightly blocked out Sun stops global warming completely, which was slowed by Democratic controlled America in the 2030s.
In 2250, the world finds an extraterrestrial civilization on a moon orbiting Mu Arae B.

Humanity terraforms Mars, Venus, and/or Europa.
Global Warming is discovered to be accelerating
Most of them, however, are not very likely to happen, but there is a chance...
And to Terraforming: I don´t really think humanity terraforms on other planets than our earth THAT soon...
All those global political organisations as EU will be dismissed or in war to another organisation/nation as America or China/whatever... sometimes....maybe not in the next 100 years, but in the next 400 years for sure.
A single nation "Europe" is very likely...but I think there will be some "EU-Rebels" who are not part of this "United States of Europe"...
Less likely in the next years is a "United State of Asia"...but this might happen. However, I think Japan would not be in this state...
I think the big super states Europe, China and America will have their conflicts....and they might even invade nations which are in neither of those states, but invading is, as many things I said before, very unlikely to happen so sooon....
