If you go and look at the forums stats page, you will see at the bottom, a record of the post, topics and page views for every day since this forum was started.
While I was going through these, I noticed that we haven't (as a forum) had more than 500 post in one day since about 5 months ago.
Was wondering if anyone has any particular insights as to why?

Recruitment is up in the region, well done all involved. But its not being translated into more activity in the forum as there is nothing new or different to attract people or to stimulate current members.

Well there are alot of factors. People get busy IRL, Nationstates has had a serious decline in activity, and forums are always busy and then fade a bit. They usually have a dedicated group. Most of it is a natural cycle.

Yeah. That last one really annoys me. That being said, Larry and Bustos have just give me a good spamming workout, even if it was a bit short, so I'm happy for a while :)
I still what to be getting 1000+ post in a day again though.

Aye, I remember the old days. Spamming for hours on end, "pwning the games forum", and all that malarky. Good times, good times. I'm assuming activity will start to increase again in the summer holidays.

I don't mind, as long as we have a pretty active general discussion board, along with a few of the related boards getting traffic. I don't really know about RP, etc. Mind you, this coming from one of the less active people in the region.

It was nice when the forum was more active, but I am happy as long as we have daily activity and nice, constant members. :)
I would like to help garner more activity, though. Anyone who has any ideas, feel free to contact me as I can set it up all official-like as MoC.

How about a month long spam fest. Anyone is welcome, from any region, and the object is to get more post in a month than any other month since Taijitu started!
(In case anyone hadn't realized yet, I like Spam :D )

I'm honored to have that endorsement from the Minister of Awesome himself. Also, hell yes, let's push on with the recruitment. At the rate NS is shrinking, maybe we can have 100% of the nations within a few months?
