Title: May 2012: Chief Justice Nominations
Post by: Eluvatar on May 08, 2012, 09:29:28 PM
Under the recently passed constitutional amendment (http://wiki.taijitu.org/w/index.php?title=Constitution_of_Taijitu&diff=7863&oldid=7289), the Delegate will be expected to nominate a Chief Justice no earlier than May 18th, to serve a term beginning June 1st. As usual, a two-thirds majority of the Senate is necessary to approve of the appointment of any Justice.

I have spoken with Limi, and he may be willing to take on the position. I will, however, consider other candidates if I can't confirm this or the Senate doesn't approve of this choice.
