Why do your posts contain so little in the way of facts?

I'm presuming there was an election, why can't you just tell me who was elected?  When and why do you believe that some of those senators are no longer senators?  I maintain they are our senators unless you can prove to me otherwise.  I'm seeing no proof from you.

When do you claim Eluvatar said that?  I see no Eluvatar present (Last post: May 30) can you give a quote?  You are placing far too much reliance on one person when you could be focussing on educating and empowering the people (with information for a start) and moving forward together.

Not just waiting for Eluvatar.

Steam names redacted, sorry if I don't have timestamp automatically on my steam messages.

*Eluvatar*: will anything terrible happen if I check in in ~8 hours?
*Funkadelia*: nothing particularly terrible
*Eluvatar*: Good, good.

I'm giving you facts. Cozulul, Letonna and I were Senators. All of us lost citizenship at one point or another, voiding our Senatorship. There is an empty Senate. Apparently the only other one running in that election was Zippan, who's nation has also CTE'd.

Thank you :)

Now we are getting somewhere.

I propose an independent investigation as to whether you, Letonna and Cozulul remain senators or not.  There is no law that says you are out of office so I'm not sure why you are so adamant on having an empty senate...

Any of the senators that the independent commission deems are no longer senators will be legally replaced by Delfos, as the runner up in the last recorded election.  There is nothing in the law that requires the senate to be an empty senate.  You are twisting the law to fit your negative impression of the inactivity.

By the way, Eluvatar has naturally failed to check in on schedule.  If we do not seriously attempt to work things out on our own we do not deserve his help.  You must face the facts that he is currently not here, and Taijitu must continue whether he has time for us or not.

Well I was just trying to find the easy part in this. With no Senate and no CJ, good luck at anything.
Today's date is: Today is Jocidi, 5 Cielidor AR 5 - Day 1770 of the Glorious Revolution.

Many touchstones try the stranger
Many fall, but one remains.

For what it's worth:

I touched briefly in #taijitu on a couple subjects that I'd like to reiterate here:

- I spoke to Gulliver yesterday and I believe he was the one who revived the founder nation and brought it to Taijitu, though I'm not sure of this. I no longer have the password for it but he does. Regardless of whether it was he who revived the founder nation or someone else, I wouldn't count on him to hang around and meddle in NationStates politics.

- For that matter, don't count on me to meddle in NationStates politics either. I've just moved to Portland (the east coast one) and I'll be spending most of my time working to afford to exist in this city. You'll probably see me hanging around the RP forums working on Oz's and myself's RP or Fredrika and Petei with Elu, God willing.

- Gulliver and I are interested in exploring creating a new Minecraft server which you would of course all be welcome in. But this wouldn't be a Taijitu-only endeavor and you'd likely find more than a few of our own personal friends among the server's blocky faces.

And two points I didn't touch upon in #taijitu:

- Dump the laws. Maybe even the constitution. They were written by Eluvatar, Gulliver, Oz, myself, and many, many others in, what was it? 2009? and at this point are probably holding you back more than anything.

- Good luck. The old founders tried many times to revive this region and it never work. Maybe some new faces will turn things around. I don't think I'm the only one who wants to see this region the way it was four years ago.

Gaming section would be welcome, Minecraft and CIV5 were two games mentioned the most while I was here. I have CIV5 through steam btw.
