Taijitu Signs Treaty With The Pacific
Emperor Moo-Cows celebrating the signing of the treaty Sovereign Dixie during the signingYesterday evening the newly elected Delegate Sovereign Dixie along with newly appointed Minister of Defense/External Affairs PoD Gunner(GMT) met with Emperor Moo-Cows of The Pacific to sign a treaty that would ally two of the most powerful regions in NS. After some awkwardness at the beginning when PoD Gunner shook one of the Emperors udders instead of the presented hoof, the meeting went smoothly. Within hours the treaty was signed. The treaty reads as follows:
The Taijitu - Pacific Accords
Preamble
In the interests of the common Good, and in the hope and aim of furthering mutual understanding and friendship whilst forming a force for Right within NationStates. The Pacific and the Free Region of Taijitu do hereby affirm and swear to the following articles.
Terms of Amity
The Free Region of Taijitu and The Pacific, to affirm mutual friendship between our two regions. Both members and Government Officials of said regions pledge to treat their treaty counterparts with the same resepct and courtesy they would treat members of their own region.
Non Aggression
Neither region shall knowingly aid any enemy of the other. This includes sharing of intelligence, military aid, or advisory aid.
Mutual Defense
An attack upon one or the other, shall be considered an attack upon both, and responded to accordingly.
Mutual Aggression
Should either party request aid in offensive operations, the petitioned party is expected to make every effort to comply. The inability to do so however, will not be grounds for cancellation of this treaty, and will be accepted in an understanding manner.
Shared Intelligence
Both parties agree to share items of relevance in terms of intelligence gathered.

This treaty promises great things for both regions. Bringing them to each others defense in times of need. Sovereign Dixie announced the treaty this morning saying: "We shall stand firm with our allies, come what may". Both regions have high hopes that this treaty can bring both regions closer and more prosperous.
What the future holds for NS is unknown, but in this reporters humble opinion whatever it is, the future looks like it shall be an exciting one.
