Startling turn of events in TNP and TRR!
By all accounts, Emperor Matthuis, who overtook the delegacy of The North Pacific in a swift move five days ago, was prepared to remain so for the foreseeable future. Yet in a startling move this evening, he reportedly ejected his endorsement supporters and then moved to The Rejected Realms, in an effort to take over that delegacy. Apparently, his endorsers from the Gatesville region were not forewarned, according to a comment made by Gates the God.
Before leaving TNP, Matthuis posted this on their WFE:
World Factbook Entry: The North Pacific has been cleansed by its Emperor due to the actions of Great Bights Mum, who has traitorously undermined the rightful Delegate. As my final act I urge all North Pacificans not to endorse her!
My gratitude to Gatesville, Catlandatopia and the rest, you
will not be forgotten.
I failed you El Castillo; I was not worthy to rule the region that you were once in.
Hail Franco's Spain!
Glory to the Revolution!
As of the last update, Matthuis has successfully taken the delegacy of The Rejected Realms. Kandarin's legendary impenetrable veneer of calm patience did not crack in the slightest as the news of this incident poured in. Kandarin commented that they have vowed to fight on as an insurgency and have commenced digging spider holes.
I have never personally seen the spiders over in TRR, but I would hate to be in Matthuis' shoes...

More on the above...
I have it on good authority that those spiders in TRR are four feet across and morbidly venomous. And word has it that spiders are now filling those aforementioned holes...

NEW DEVELOPMENTS!
Gates the God announced on TRR's RMB this morning that Gatesville is now actively attempting to "liberate" TRR. One of his comments posted on the RMB:
Matt did not have the will or the presence in TNP so I told him to give it up but I had no idea he would pull this stunt And for the record I have negotiated a peace with TNP
Insane Power of the Lexicon also posted on the TRR RMB ordering their own troops home, stating:
If anyone from The Lexicon has ended up here after serving in TNP, feel free to return home. The Lex is not involved in the affairs of the Rejected Realms (this time ;) )

Gatesville suffers dissension in the ranks
Gates the God proclaimed the support of Gatesville's armed forces for re-instating Kandarin as delegate in TRR, but apparently not all of the soldiers are happy with that decision. Earlier today, one of the Gatesville soldiers posted a resignation from both from the armed services and from the region in disagreement with the decree. Rumor has it that there may have been more, but no actual proof of that has surfaced.

Sorry? Are these the same Gatesville troops who just a couple of days ago on the TNP RMB were claiming loud and long that EM was delegate of TNP by virtue of the game mechanics, and therefore folks from outside should not attempt to liberate the region?
Just checking

Apparently so. Interesting, how that works.

*cough*Hypocrisy*cough*
Sorry, had a tickle in my throat.

TRR Update
As of Update today, Kandarin has been restored to his rightful spot as Delegate. :drunks:
-
The Invincible Kandy rides again.

At least Matty made NS more interesting for a bit.
-
Hardly objective reporting. You should consider when reporting events, at least trying to remove your own personal biases.
Also, a good portion of the NS world disagrees that TRR delegate spot is rightfully Kandarin's, as his delegacy has been actively sponsored by the ADN for so long. That is well documented.
At least Matty made NS more interesting for a bit.
Word. :)

That he did. It's certainly been an interesting week!

If you're talking about my addition, I never claimed objectivity. Besides it's news reporting, when has any media ever been objective. :-P
-
The objective media and unicorns are one in the same.
-
True, but a good reprter at least tries. It's like the difference between Fox Commentary or Entertainment tonight and NPR.
Hip hipping Kandarin's return and adding a  is more along the lines of Fox commentary. (Apologies to non USies who dont get the reference.)

Aren't they the ones working on truth in advertising?

Yes, and I've just heard they're in league with the leprechauns...

Why does no one ever ant to work with the goblins?
-
Because their breath is dreadful, that's why.
-
You shunned them and in turn you missed a chance to introduce them to mint cookies for fresh breath and a happy belly.
-
/me thinks she'll just leave tht up to the lady goblins. Surely they'll be just as determined as humans to "civilize" their mates.
-
And here I've been going all these years thinking that goblins reproduce asexually

But of course the dragons are the best at creative journalism.

I don't know, Alg. I knew a gerbil who was pretty darn good at it once. Or was that a hamster? I can never tell.

It is well known that creatures with fur cannot write for crap.
