I'm not sure if this is the appropriate forum section to post this, but nevertheless,
I have written a Resolution draft to repeal the Nuclear Power Safety Act. Please post your opinions here or the actual thread. Thanks for your opinions.
http://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=186772
Argument:
THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY:
BELIEVING that "Nuclear Power Safety Act" neglects serious aspects of Nuclear Power, mainly Fusion Power,
CONCERNED that the Resolution does not require member nations to follow the guidelines of the NESC,
TROUBLED by the fact that the NESC has no authority in member nations, and they only determine suggested standards,
URGING that future resolutions related to safety in Nuclear Power address these issues,
Hereby,
REPEALS General Assembly Resolution #204
-
SUGGESTS that these concerns are added in future documents?
-
I may add that. Is that acceptable to put though?
-
I may add the line, "URGING that future resolutions related to safety in Nuclear Power address these issues,"
EDIT: Line added.
-
I like it, you has the funk
-
Indeed ;D
-
Looks legit
-
Did they really remove this?
-
Yes, they did, and it was pretty stupid to me. So I left it and said that anyone who wanted it as the base for a possible repeal could use it as long as they gave me credit.

Well, that's unfortunate. i probably would have voted against it, but it stinks they removed it. ???

Update: Bergnovinaia has agreed to help me rewrite this in an appropriate manner. Perhaps this will happen anyways!
