These are two games that have really piqued my interest. Both seem quite original and I can't wait for more info.
Heavy Rain's Wikipedia Page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heavy_Rain): Specifically, this image from The Casting, a tech demo using Heavy Rain's engine, amazes me.

And here is the entire amazing video, The Casting (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwdlvPeFb4U).
Heavy Rain is a spiritual successor to Indigo Prophecy, by the way, if anyone remembers that game.
And Mirror's Edge is a first-person game using the actual person and a parkour/free running style as the basis for the game.
Here's Mirror's Edge's Wikipedia Page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mirror%27s_Edge): I love this style. PLAY Magazine has an amazing cover article on the game, by the way. Go read it...or you can read this (http://www.next-gen.biz/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=6598&Itemid=51) article instead...but you really need to read the magazine article. It has an interview and pictures and it's very well done.
And here are some pictures for Mirror's Edge (http://media.ps3.ign.com/media/949/949457/imgs_1.html).
