This thread is a tribute to the one, the only David Bowie:

Bowie managed to naturally evolve from one musical style to another, changing with the times, staying current, but always producing good quality music while remaining sexy and outrageously stylish.

My favorite Bowie album, by far, is Low, part of the Berlin Trilogy of albums produced while he lived with Brian Eno in (obviously) Germany.

He is a great artist and he deserves all the respect. Yes, he was outrageous, and yes, he did wear that glamorous make-up back in the 70's but hey, the music is great. The looks behind the music is for gossip and chit-chat, but the brain and the sound are the aspects you seek in a musician because you are listening to music to satisfy needs that your soul has. David Bowie doesn't get in my top 10 favourite artists, but still i have great respect for him, and all he's done for the music industry. All hail .
