Title: Advace Wars and Fire Emblem

These two games are amazing.  I they are grid based tactic games for the Game Boy Advace/ Nintendo DS for Advance Wars and GBA, Game Cube, and Wii for Fire Emblem.  Fire Emblem's catch is if you let a player die, they are dead forever (unless you restart)  this causes you to care about the people in the game which is an odd thing for me.

Just wanted to say cuz this is what I am playing.

All great stuff.  I'd certainly get the Wii Fire Emblem game if/when I get a Wii.

Shining Force is another nice SRPG series.  My favorite is still Disgaea, though.  A lot less realistic than stuff like Fire Emblem, but it's great fun.

Yeah, both are indeed great games. Really liked them, even if I usually like to play more serious games than AW or more modern games than FE ;) .

You should get the new Advance Wars, it cuts back on the pseudo-hipster stuff.  A bit bleaker for an AW title.

If you like AWs, then you should try Shattered Union. That game is pretty good.
