the sun was shining on the east bank of the games forum, flowers and assorted other colorful things were being put in place for the ceremony to begin soon. the punch was spiked the parrots were squaking and the pirate ship was parked. everything was coming together nicely.

in her dressing room PUR was nervously trying to get the corset to fit properly....

Alana couldn't wait for the ceremony to commence.  She had to be assisted putting on her gown, never one who was able to lace up a ribbon behind her back without twisting it.  When she was finally gowned and her hair was dressed, she walked into the vestibule where she would wait for the music to cue her to walk up the right-hand aisle.  PUR, her beautiful fiancé, would enter the left-hand aisle at the same moment.

Never had Alana been happier.




OOC: My love, I have to leave my office for the night at 3:25 (our time zone), so I won't be able to post again ere morning comes.

Saint Oz walked into church through the center. He was wearing a white robe that was tied at the waist. He was also wearing what seemed to be a pope's hat. In his right hand he carried a copy of the Abridged Version of the bible by Saint Oz himself.

He stood at the top making sure everything was prepared and took a whiskey bottle out of his robe and got a gulp of it down and put it back in his robe.

Saint Oz stood up at the top waiting for everyone to come.

I wonder what they'll think about the pyrotechnics? Alana thought as she peered through a curtain at the arriving guests.  Maybe I should ask the techies to tone down the flash-pot usage just a tad...

*Taco arrives, uninvited, and sneaks past the people at the door put there to stop wedding crashes like Taco. His large pockets empty he scans the room and quickly moves to the buffet and open bar loading up his pockets with free food and booze. He makes a quick stop by the gift table, removes the cash fat card envelopes and a few of the smaller presents before quickly departing he yells "Congrats" and walks out of the church richer for the experience and quickly hops a plane to Mexico*

OOC: Not likely, but this time it seems that there was. If it makes you feel better to keep it "realistic" then just assume I stole the gifts from cars parked outside the church and then went to the reception hall and stole all the food from the kitchen before departing for Mexico  ;D

Well, they said colorful, so Mama Khab dug out her favorite flower child garb.  The rainbow colored butterfly top and hand-painted bell bottom jeans are still brilliant even after all these years, with the finishing touches; a long macrame belt, and a pewter huge peace sign strung on a hemp cord around her neck.  Shoes?  Of course not.  Bare feet!  You can almost hear the theme song from "Hair" as she blows in.  

Seems like things are getting interesting already!  She heads over to where she sees Talmann and Soly, lifts a paper bag meaningfully, and whispers loudly, "I brought the brownies."

OOC: Save it for the reception, goof!  ;)  This is THEIR wedding, let them do it the way they'd like to, okay?
