ummm... wow... you do know those rules come in three books that are a few hundred pages long each... plus many many many additional books with more rules...

D20srd provides all the essential information in an easy-to-access form. Here is a link. (http://www.d20srd.org)

It is enough for players to be familiar with some parts of the Player's Handbook, but if there is at least one more experienced player in the group, there's no reason for everyone to learn it by heart. On top of that, there are dozens of supplemental books, new kind of systems (such as Incarnum and shadowcasting), but as I said, knowing the basics of the Player's Handbook is enough and all the important parts are in the SRD.

2. Is this based on the basic 3 books, or are we eligible to add things from such supplementals as Oriental Adventures?

3. Anyone besides Soly able to be a dungeon master, so we can get this shit going again?

4. I've never... actually... played AD&D despite owning the books, will ya'll take it easy on me?

Its probably one of my fave games. There shud defo be ome sorta tournament connected to Tajitu
