Make an application for a child board of the Zocalo for your NGO here.
By doing so you will become Moderator of that child board until the organization makes known that it wants to change leadership.
You then become responsible for keeping record of members of your organization.
Once there are 5 NGOs in the Zocalo, in order to get a child board for a new NGO you will have to have a petition by a number of members greater than the number of members in the smallest NGO currently in the Zocalo. Your organization will then displace theirs.

Just thought I'd bring it up, the smallest organization with a sticky is the Taijitun Communist Party, with seven active members (Ranholn actively left the forum).
The Conservative Party of Taijitu is up to four members, meaning that we should get our child forum once we get three more members, right?

I would like to apply, on behalf of the Apathy Party of Taijitu for a child board. As we currently have about 1300 members, we are easily the largest party in Taijitu. I would add that the second party has zero threads and zero posts in their subforum.
But, in keeping with our political philosophy, if you do not grant this request we do not care.

Yep, the Conservative Party of Taijitu now has seven official members. Last I checked the Communist Party had seven active members, so if I'm not mistaken that means we get a child board ;D
So allow me to formally request a child board for the Conservative Party of Taijitu. Here's our seven member roster:

No, because Ranholn left the forums a few months back, dropping the Communist Party's membership to 7. True, he's made his intention to return in 2008 well known, but as of the acquisition of of our seventh member the lowest member count of a party with a child board was the Communist Party with 7.
As for Ranholn, well he made his departure from the region pretty well known. As such I believe that when he returns he's free to rejoin the Communist Party as a new member, but that should have no barring on the Conservative Party, who's member list has reached the level as the lowest NGO with a child board already.
So Elu, or whoever is in charge here, could we please get our child board?

don't want to exacerbate any potential misunderstandings here- as more likely than not, it is my own misunderstanding that will bite my bum BUT from what I interpreted, in order for our NGO to obtain a childboard, our number must exceed 7, (not match it)...or am I mistaken?

Lol, contesting isn't extraordinarily apathetic! No doubt, the Apathy party's got CPT outnumbered, the question is, are they too apathetic to apply for a childboard? In any case, the situations may not be mutually exclusive...there well might be enough inactivity on the Zocalo childboards that both parties could receive a childboard...if only we could discover who to apply for one to!

Look up in this thread! The Apathy party applied for a child board on 30th October. We have been waiting, apathetically, ever since.
And do not confuse apathy with inactivity. Our party has defined apathy as "The active pursuit of ennui". We need somewhere to be apathetic on.

I request that the PNLF's board get removed, seeing as how there has been no activity in 10 months, and replaced with a board for the Civic Democratic Party.

The current limit is 5 boards, so there shouldn't be any need to replace it. I'll get on that tomorrow when I'm not about to go to bed >_<

Currently, the limit of 5 has been reached. Perhaps one of the Child Boards could be removed though. We'll have to wait for Eluvatar or Gulliver to make a decision on the matter.
