About: The 10000 Islands, NS' largest UCR, is a region dedicated to defending others and having fun. As our WFE says, the 10000 Islands are a picturesque archipelago of islands renowned for our white-sand beaches and blue-green waves. This region is not only a prosperous center of culture & trade, but also a well-armed defense territory. We are home to TITO, the Ten thousand Islands Treaty Organization and have over 2300 successful missions to date.

Despite my dislike of Grub and his policies regarding the citizens, the community is full of good people. I support the embassy request and believe it should be accepted.

These jokers are perhaps the laziest, fickle assholes to work with.
Hell fucking no. Didn't they refuse to help us liberate Lazarus despite being 'supportive'. Then like one volunteer showed up once. I'm not voting for their flakey bullshit.
They might as well be neutral even though they fly their banner of Fenderness because they're so fucking passive.

10KI were, far and away, the largest provider of troops to the liberation of Lazarus. Grub repeatedly cleared his RMB and asked all active WA regional members to move to Lazarus (in addition to the normal TITO deployment)

Your presence notwithstanding, you know very little. While in a region where we share the title of citizen with the likes of Funk and Elu, I cannot say that I did "a lot" in this particular Lazarene mission, but I was certainly more involved than you were (and aside from my actions, I am certainly knowledgeable about it)

Is that few interactions overall, or a presence of negative interactions?
If the former - they have been friendly, but without much communication (no embassy) overall we are going to have few interactions

I see no reason not to approve an embassy with 10000 Islands other than the typical Taijituan anti-NSer nonsense that is clearly serving our region so well.

I'm not privy to the military operations of TITO or XKI itself, but Dyr of all people would know, since he's involved in every big defender op (including the liberation of Lazarus) I would take his word for it. I see no reason either as to why we should deny their embassy request.

As OT said, I've never had a good interaction with anyone in TITO, every op I've been on with them they flake, so based on those interactions, they can go be fat and pompous elsewhere.

I'm fine with approving an embassy with TITO. They can be a bit aloof, but they're a large, well known region which we ought to have some manner of relations with.

That's categorically wrong. At Lazarus' count over 110 TITO nations were endorsing Kazmr, and over 50 were endorsing me before they were ordered to pull out.
I don't know where you were at the time, but it certainly wasn't Lazarus.

TITO was definitely involved in the liberation of Lazarus. 10000 Islands deployed over a hundred nations in the final phase to secure the region, but they also had their more active members participating in the coalition effort to apply pressure which gave us the opening for Kazmr to free it.
We certainly compete with 10000 Islands for nations, but the same is also certainly true of Equilism, Equinox, International Northwestern Union, Renegade Islands Alliance, Spiritus, and Wintreath (and perhaps also Australia, Canada, or even Jethnea).
10000 Islands is certainly less democratic than we are, but the same is also true to some extent of very nearly every diplomatic partner we have.
If 10000 Islands is interested in relations with us, I would embrace relations with them. If they're jerks about it, we can tell them to take a hike. If they're cool, we gain friends.
