Hi guys, I've spent the last hour or so trying to write down the concept of the nation i have in my mind... I've always daydreamt about this nation, and based my NS Nation after it. I'm not done and will append this post as i edit, change, and add info. I've looked at the wiki and am planning on adapting the nation.Here is what I have so far:
Government
The ruling body of Elecopolis is the High Family. They Rule with absolute authority, enforced though HEXA\\Corporation’s complete influence over the economy.
People
The people of Elecopolis are very quiet and passive, yet extremely Patriotic without any Empathy at all.
Not much changes socially in this nation, where knowledge above everything is valued. Idiocy is not tolerated. “Keeping up with the Johnson’s” or being better than your neighbors is a major driver in the life of most. Status symbols, and the jobs needed to buy them are what keep the people of this nation going.
Economy
The stores of this nation look like massive box-marts of the world. With one difference, it’s all staged.
Every brand and company all funnel up to the big “one” HEXA\\Corporation. Everything you buy goes to this one entity. Who buys what is monitored. Opinions and Ideas are harvested though cameras or microphone in other products connected via the National “Inter-Link”. This Data is then used to create new or improved products.
National Inter-link
The Nations Own Data Network. Everything flows though the interlink. Anything “Link Ready” connects to the Inter-Link. Computers, Phones, Ovens, Microwaves, RFID-Enabled Trash Bins, Cars, and Home-Link Systems are only a few implementations of Link Ready Nodes/Devices. All data is stored on HEXA\\ Corporate Servers. This Data is used for many things, from Product Improvement and Advertisement Targeting to Peace Keeping. Every Major district in the Nation have PA systems and other Visual Display Systems that can take advantage of the Data collected from the Inter-Link.
Notable History
When the nation became “one” is all that really matters now. HEXA\\ became the one driving force in the economy. With the Legacy government, there was corruption, waste and public unrest. With the consumer in mind the HEXA\\ took the reins and reformed this nation into what it is now. Protecting and advancing the nation’s economy and way of life #1 above all else for this new government.
