I would like to again note that this conference is open to any nation with relations to the Cefnor Basin.

In 1982, Myroria is coming out of a three-year-long recession and republicanism, on the rise since the king's impeachment, shows no signs of receding any time soon. The Myrorian government's goals in this conference are two-fold: To increase its sphere of influence and gain new trust in the monarchy both at home and abroad.

I loved that last bit Myro. Especially "thinking of some twenty-something Craftsman outside the Myrorian embassy, in the throes of government-mandated celebration, throwing up outside his bedroom window."

Haha I always thought the puritanical conservative rural Myrorians would have a hard time adjusting to a country like Khem.

In 1982, Letonna is becoming a powerful industrialized nation. It's a large exporter of its manufactured goods. It's interests would be to secure trade with Cefnor nations, secure contested resources, and make sure conflict in the region is at a minimum.

Possible things Letonna would wish to discuss are:

-Mining disputes in the unclaimed land south of Letonna and east of Austrasia.
-Fishing rights in the sea North of Myroria and Letonna.
-Increase diplomatic relations, more open borders, lower tariffs.

Khem wishes to discuss: initiation of standardization, environment, trade, "UN", MDP/NAP, solidarity, offer island for "UN", creation of axis of allies.

Zimmerwald: I like your idea to have Manti know Ely. He is an old-school revolutionary who fought beside those who were considered heroes of the populist uprisings of the 60's and 70's.

I think that everyone that will post in the pipe scene has posted, and perhaps we should move onto the conference itself. I also imagine that there it will be a lot easier to be fluid and not have to wait for everyone - if someone doesn't post we can just handwave it as their character having no input.
