About other "crafts", why do American industry still uses inches ffs? I'm working on an American electric motor and it was a full afternoon to just get the right screws to work with it, also the data from the motor comes in imperial, foot/pounds? who the hell uses foot/pounds still? Please: Newton/meters! I beg you so you don't get excluded from production, use metric! It's wonderful, everybody uses it and loves it.

Sorry, I can't hear you over my freedom. We still use imperial because everyone here still uses imperial. Handymen can look at a screw and say "That's a quarter inch."

And don't you diss our beer, the Anheuser-Busch corporation is part of the piss water market, not the beer market. Best damned beer in the world is Deep Ellum IPA, especially when it's aged in oak barrels, and I'm lucky enough to live about 30 minutes from its Brewery. It beats any 500 year old monk brew I ever tasted there. :)

And I'm always going to enjoy it in pints.

Yeah and everyone here knows what 10mm are and how many you need for a meter. And Irish Jameson whiskey is aged in Portuguese port wine oak barrels, you couldn't ask for better europeism.
