Jodorowsky's Dune
« on: July 12, 2014, 08:14:06 AM »

I watched this documentary, all I can say is I'm still trying to put together my blown mind.

Trailer for this documentary doesn't quite prepare you for the ecstasiating experience. Dune was proper sci-fi, but what Jodorowsky was dreaming was way extrapolating cinematic experience to the max. Just imagine a movie where you could have Orson Welles, Mick Jagger and Salvador Dali.

After you watch this documentary, as you dream of how great this idea was/is, you think how much sci-fi movies live in the shadow of a movie that was never shot.

Dune, Ancient Sands which apparently is an upcoming game that I can't find much info about it.

Aww man, I wish that Dune: Ancient Sands game would actually get made. Such fabulous concept art!! It sucks when games get stuck in development and are never finished!

interesting, perhaps amusing or even, dreadful thought,
educational. "
